AccessHealth Welcomes Dr. Rabiah Zafar

AccessHealth is excited to announce that Rabiah Zafar has joined AccessHealth’s team as our new OBGYN. Dr. Rabiah Zafar received her bachelor's degree from University of California at Berkeley, followed by a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, California.  She completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital/Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was a chief resident. After completing her residency, Dr. Zafar worked in Northeast Texas at Tyler Family Circle of Care.   

She is an active member of many medical societies including the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.  Dr. Rabiah Zafar recently relocated to the Richmond-Rosenberg area and is eager to serve women residing in Fort Bend and surrounding counties.  Dr. Rabiah Zafar is excited to be a part of a great team at AccessHealth.    

In her spare time Dr. Rabiah Zafar enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.  She enjoys giving back to her community and participating in many volunteer activities. Dr. Zafar believes that it is essential for all communities to invest in women’s health and that women must understand their health.  She dedicates her time in providing women with the necessary information and resources needed and n46 believes in treating all people with the utmost respect and compassion.  She credits her mother for being the driving force behind her training and career.
