Steak and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos
  • 1 ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon arrowroot starch
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced steak, minced garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak mixture and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway until browned. Once done, set the steak aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and arrowroot starch to create the stir-fry sauce.
  4. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and 1/3 cup of water. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the broccoli turns bright green and is slightly tender but still crisp.
  5. Return the cooked steak and any juices to the skillet. Pour in the stir-fry sauce, stir to combine, and cook for an additional minute to allow the sauce to thicken.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat, stir in sliced green onions, and garnish with sesame seeds.
  7. Serve the Sesame Ginger Steak and Broccoli Stir-Fry immediately. Enjoy this delicious and wholesome meal!
