Steak and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 pound steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 1 ½ teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon arrowroot starch
- 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced steak, minced garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak mixture and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway until browned. Once done, set the steak aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and arrowroot starch to create the stir-fry sauce.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and 1/3 cup of water. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the broccoli turns bright green and is slightly tender but still crisp.
- Return the cooked steak and any juices to the skillet. Pour in the stir-fry sauce, stir to combine, and cook for an additional minute to allow the sauce to thicken.
- Remove the skillet from heat, stir in sliced green onions, and garnish with sesame seeds.
- Serve the Sesame Ginger Steak and Broccoli Stir-Fry immediately. Enjoy this delicious and wholesome meal!
