About Charissa Davis

Charissa Davis, LPC-S, LCDC-Intern, is a dedicated mental health professional with deep roots in Houston, Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed her Master's degree at the University of Houston. Charissa holds a Licensed Professional Counselor certification and a Counseling Supervisor certificate from the Texas Licensing Board of Professional Counselors. 

Since 2004, Charissa has contributed significantly to the mental health and social service fields in various roles. She is an active member of the Texas Counseling Association, ACU JEDI Committee, and proudly pledged with the first African-American sorority in the U.S. Her professional interests include therapeutic interventions and education focusing on trauma, depression, empowerment, and women's issues. Charissa enjoys a fulfilling personal life as a married mother, finding joy in the adventures of parenthood. She loves decorating for events, savoring good food, and listening to live music.
