Yaqueline Paredes, LCSW

Yaqueline Paredes, LCSW, is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to serving the Houston community. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, with roots in Guatemala, Yaqueline brings a unique cultural perspective to her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston, Main Campus.

With a decade of experience, Yaqueline has worked extensively with children, families, and adults, addressing a variety of life issues and mental health conditions. Growing up in an immigrant household with limited knowledge about mental health sparked her curiosity and drive to learn more. Her personal experiences and interactions with mental health professionals during her formative years inspired her to pursue a career in Social Work, with a commitment to helping others as she was helped.

Beyond her professional life, Yaqueline enjoys the outdoors, biking, walking her dog Flan, and participating in CrossFit. She loves challenging her physical abilities through hikes while also appreciating relaxing days by the pool and exploring new foods and restaurants.
